About Dr. Disney After graduating from Washington State University in 1971, Dr. Harry Disney launched into general practice in northern Idaho and western Montana. The scope of practice included a lot of "part-time" ranchers who worked other jobs as well as tending their livestock interests. At the time, western Montana also had a large number of small dairies. To provide full services at a small scale for such a variety of operations was a full-time challenge. After more than 15 years of practice, Dr. Disney sold his Catamount Veterinary Clinic in Ronan, Montana, and traveled to southern China to teach English. Upon returning from China, he returned to private practice in Shoshone, Idaho for several years and then moved back to the Bozeman area of Montana. Besides working as the attending veterinarian for Bozeman Livestock Sales, Dr. Disney provided veterinary locum services in rural Montana practices that needed a veterinarian with bovine interests. Presently, Dr. Disney is in Chapcha, Qinghai Province, China, working in various livestock development projects. With "survival level" Chinese language ability, he and his wife are traveling China to help numerous charity organizations monitor their projects and provide training to regional veterinarians and livestock producers.
